I am thrilled to have been a part of a “Spring into Summer” fashion show hosted by Fresh and Precious. please please please take the time to check out their blog and see more photo’s from the show!!!
Eyeliner is probably the most versatile weapon in our arsenal of makeup, but it can certainly be tricky! One of the hardest things is making it even on both sides. And for a look like a kitten eye, it has to be even or it can look a little silly…Luckily it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!
First things first, start off with eye shadow
For normal daytime wear; I like a clean, neutral palette - like this custom color look I created for myself with Mary Kay.

Now you are ready for the eyeliner. Make sure your eyeliner is freshly sharpened, or you can nab a sweet twist-up eyeliner like this
.
As for technique, I recommend that you use short feathering strokes rather than long solid ones…if you try to make one long clean line, chances are it won’t end up straight or it won’t be the same on both sides. Short, small strokes give you a chance to go slow and take your time. Be sure to pause as you go to check for symmetry.
now here we go!!
Step 1: create a straight line from the corner of your eye up towards the end of your eyebrow. This line should go as high as the top of your open eye lid.

Step 2: now create another line from the top of your open eyelid to the top of the first line your created.

Step 3: All that is left is to fill in the remaining space with your eyeliner.

Follow this up with a great eyeliner…I recommend Mary Kay’s Ultimate Mascara…it’s like mascara on steroids.

and voila - your eyes are set!

Now put on the rest of your makeup, style your hair, put on the perfect outfit, and you are ready to face the day fabulous!!
